I wish to write a findings from a sequence of events. I purchased a Shark expensive hoover through Argos, but because it was a sale item it was being sent to Sainsbury’s Frenchgate shopping centre, Doncaster. However upset with fearing to bag an absolute bargain I didn’t think it would be a problem. Address details indicated I would drive to the back door, get it in my car with ease. After ordering the item I had a huge asthma attack (A&E). I contacted the store today to ask for some support on collecting my item. All to no avail I was informed I needed to provide documentation and evidence and I.d which I understood was acceptable but this meant the lady on the phone at the time said no one else could collect it with my documentation. I found this to be very unhelpful, I am classed as a vulnerable and disabled individual lifting and carrying an electrical gadget for any while causes me issues when you’ve had a full blown asthma attack. Tonight I collected my item after walking 1.2 miles around the shopping centre because the entrance to the store was blocked off, so I had to walk round the outside and use another entrance. On entering the store I found two beautiful staff whom took a seriously supportive role to assist. Gabrielle and Harrison saw what the issues were effectively addressed them and it just goes to show that my previous experience of the lady on the telecom was clearly being shown up by her own staff. I am absolutely in a state now, from having in my opinion having to go through this ordeal. Great news was the amazing Gabrielle and Harrison whom assisted and shown excellent customer service thank you I’m in tears. The stars are only for Gabrielle and Harrison as a true reflection of their outstanding customer service. Thank you

When i used self check out yesterday at Sainsbury's in Frenchgate, my shopping bag was rolling down and dropped on the floor when i tried to pack all my shopping at the till, a glass bottle of pasta sauce was shattered and sauces are over in my shopping bag, a Asian looking customer service lady came near to my bag and she had a look without offering any help, i was puzzled and asked her if she could bring me some tissues, she did fetch some tissues and wet cloth, i wiped one of the plastic container in the shopping bag, and i would dare to carry on cleaning them in case i get injured by shattered bottle, and i asked the customer lady where the bin was, she pointed to me near the exit. So i threw the bag into the bin and got a new shopping bag. I don't feel i have got enough help from a customer service at all.

Checkout takes ages. One person running around like headless chicken serving probably more than 12 self serving checkouts.. 5 members of staff at the tobacco counter hiding and even when I tried to address the issue I didn't really get anywhere.. thsi is very poor reflection on Sainsbury's and i avoid it as much as I can. Vegetables and fruit counter is often half empty in late afternoon, place generally often runs out of stuff. Poorly managed which is shame.

Disappointing store overall. It's an odd size, between a smaller superstore and a local. As a result, is missing many of the ranges we usually come to Sainsburys for. Was noticeable that many items were Incrementally more expensive than larger stores as well as not having as many ranges. Store seems rather more enclosed and generally feels a bit more dated than other stores. Kicker is that regardless of spend, still have to pay for parking. Doubt we'll be back to this branch, despite it being closer than our usual ones.

Could have better products in the shop. Prices for some reason are slightly more here than other Sainsbury's visited. A lot of security which basically means 'We get shoplifters regularly here!' i.e. Not a comfortable place to shop id prefer to go to M&S which are basically the same price as this Sainsbury's store.
