Waterstones is always a five-star experience for us and truly the best bookstore in town. They consistently stock the latest titles, along with a wide range of genres that make browsing an absolute pleasure. Their discounts are excellent, making it easy to pick up new reads without breaking the bank. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about books, often offering great recommendations and insights into bestsellers. A fantastic place for book lovers and anyone looking to discover their next great read. Highly recommended!
Generally we are enjoying sitting in the Waterstones, reading coupe of book, enjoying with coffee however this one in Doncaster is not the usual Waterstones environment. The quality of drinks were lower than the others. The variety of books not very well. Hope to improve it
Brilliant bookshop. Wide variety of books available. Staff extremely helpful, they'll order a book for you if they don't have the book in the shop. They also stock diaries, calendars and other things. Well worth visiting.
Situated in the Frenchgate shopping centre, this seems to be quite a small Waterstones compared to many, but it is very well laid out and very attractive. There really is something for everyone in this Waterstones with a huge range of books for all ages and interests, together with jigsaws, puzzles and toys etc It is well staffed so plenty of help and advice if needed. It has a huge, light and airy cafe on the first floor and I believe that the toilets are also on this floor. I visited on a Friday lunchtime and it was good to see the store busy with customers of all ages and the cafe was busy too. I had a very good cup of tea whilst I did a bit of people watching. Waterstones always offers a quality experience and would be my first choice for book buying.
Went to the cafe lovely coffee and scone. Fran who served us was attentive made sure hot coffee with 2 shots and a warm scone. Lovely well done Fran Geoff A
