Rudest customer service ever ! , Bought a water pump , on the website said that starting water level can be 50mm , on the pump label 200mm which is 8inch , so when I wanted to use it and dept it in the water it didn’t start at all , so I switched it off and brought back to the shop , explained all the situation and wanted to replace with a different one , (because on the 50mm it won’t work) Which I’ve been told it’s not a problem and it can be replaced . So I were looking for a different one for about 20minutes, and asking questions what they would recommend for the basement low water but the guy was so rude , and said he have no clue about it and whichever I will pick it will be my choice . So then after 20minutes when I found a product that I want this guy on a till (which I tried to find out a name and he refused to tell me ) told me that I’m lying and he won’t do a replacement . I’ve asked to see if I can talk to a manager but he said he's the manager and still refuse me to give his name , so I didn’t give up and asked to speak to someone above him , so he gave me the number which I thought was customer service, it was number for the actual pump supplier 🤦‍♀️ , so I returned back to the shop and told him I didn’t want to speak to supplier but I want to speak to someone that I can raise a complain about his behaviour . So finally he gave me a number to the customer service and wrote a name on a receipt of the lady (Hanna) that served me first time . And at the and he still refused to give his name , and introduced himself as Hanna and wanted to shake my hand ! What a low level behaviour if you can’t work under pressure or you have no idea how to help customers you shouldn’t be in this place , literally wasted 2 hours going back and forth , at the end went somewhere else and been helped and bought a proper product !

Just been to Toolstation Doncaster today, excellent service as usual. Very helpful young man and young lady. Very polite, nothing too much trouble and a sense of humour.Many thanks

Having previously used this store and had very poor service, I was a little reluctant to use it today. However, I was served by Paul. What a top guy. Very pleasant friendly manner, helpful and sorted me out with exactly what I needed. He is exactly what you need from someone doing that job. He did everything right. My faith has been restored, cheers Paul.
