We decided to order our Christmas day meal from here as we stayed in primrose all over the festive period we ordered the food from the menu. On the morning of the 25th some of my kids who have additional needs were struggling so I made contact with the pub and asked if they could do a "takeaway" version, they agreed. We collected our Chritmas Dinner which were in pizza boxes and let's just say the food looked and tasted discussing( see pictures) we paid £16.99 ! Head for 4 dinners it was processed pre packaged meat, the mash potatoes were hard and lumpy and the peas were undercooked it made my wife poorly and she was sick after a few mouthfuls, my sons spaghetti was a microwave meal still with plastic on it, veg and other items all missing. Complete rip off and horriable place to eat. We complained and got nothing back not even a offer of compensation. Stay clear of this place!!
Stayed at the primrose valley site for a 3 night break after Xmas family of 4. Service and food was both excellent and good value especially with a drink included. We used the App to order were drinks and food were promptly served. We added an extra side to our order after the main order was sent, this was spotted and all came together which I didn't expect as it was quite busy. Highly recommend 👌 with this outstanding service it makes you want to stay on site.
Thought the famous Tim wouldn’t allow extra prices just because it’s on a holiday camp, but more expensive compared to the same food in other Spoons. Their own app (not the spoons app) kept crashing so lead to big ques at the bar. Full of screaming kids so don’t go if you want a quiet pint / coffee. The air con only works at one end. The same food but paying extra.
Got the Tennessee beef patty and paid for an extra patty because they’re only 3 ounces each Not cooked very well at all. Seemed over cooked see pictures Tasted fine, pissed the 26 tiny chips looked like scrappy ones Onion rings where fine Place seemed clean from the small area I was in. Obviously I’m here off season which for me been autistic. I don’t like loud places with noisy customers 500g of 20% fat mince is only £2.79 retail, so they could have been 4oz not 3oz 😂😂
We were somewhat worried, about coming to this Wetherspoons, after reading a lot of the reviews. However, were pleasantly surprised. Every order we placed, came out within minutes, whether that be food, or drink. Prompt service, friendly, and delicious. Myself, my wife, and 3 year old son, must have had 4 or 5 meals here across the week, and loved every single one of them. Yeah, sure, prices are slightly inflated; its on a Holiday Park. Its called supply and demand. Most meals were around £15, and had a drink included. That seems alright value to me. Drinks were ICE cold. A rare place that sells Strongbow on draft (although couldnt have the first day as was line cleaning, all day, which was my only gripe). Overall, loved it.
