Not been here for a couple of years, ventured back on 1st Jan (…. Yes, a feeble attempt at a NY resolution). Nevertheless, the facilities have remained as great as before. The gym itself was clean and tidy and had more equipment than the last time I visited. Wasn’t overly busy which was a plus!
Puregym feels like home, with 2 hours free parking. Made good gym buddies there too. People should learn to put weights back though and wipe down equipments after working out.

Let's start with the positives, the gym is clean and well set up. The team are lovely and the classes they provide are really good! We've been loving coming to the gym, the little gym community there is great! Now there is the small issue of the changing rooms, now I can only truly speak for the men's though my partner has stated that neither of the cubicles in the women's changing rooms lock... Now onto the men's, the Aircon needs to be put on! You finish a work out and the showers are so hot you immediately start sweating again, 2 of the shower have been out of order for 3 months and they smell of damp mold and make the rest of the showers smell (get them fixed!). Also I did have the an unlucky find in the men's toilets... There is a poo streak on the wall... Now I'll like to reiterate that this is a good gym it just needs to give some love and a few more checks on the changing rooms. And get those showers fixed, turn the temp down slightly and put the Aircon on!
Social distancing in place. Well equipped to clean down contact surfaces. Friendly helpful staff. Good quality and quantity of weights and exercise equipment. Plenty of classes available too.
