Sainsbury's

Was at one of the staff checkouts and when the elderly female staff was checking out my products, she didn't even greet me lol, didn't even respond when I thanked her and got pissed because I was using my card instead of cash. But she was very kind and accommodating to the older lady before me. Don't come here if you're a person of colour and want to be treated with respect lol.

This is the worst Sainsburys that I have ever been to. Produce not good, items soggy or not fresh, parking unsuitable for a large shop as it is limited to 1 hour, it also smells of dirt and wee. Only one checkout running with huge queues and in the evenings no checkout at all forcing you to use the self check out where it is impossible to remove security tagged items and also you get errors. Also, there is no staff to help you out. The place is understaffed and the few staff are either rude or incompetent. Have left and will no longer shop there.

The worst experience I’ve ever had in a supermarket. I was with a group of five people – all of us were adults. I’m 26, and I tried to buy a four-pack of Strongbow. I didn’t have my ID with me, but the other four people did. They asked who was making the purchase, and when they found out it was me, they refused to sell us the alcohol, even though everyone except me had proof of being over 18. A blonde employee with a heavy fake tan made a whole scene in front of the entire store. She started calling other employees over and watching us as we left and stood outside, just to make sure we wouldn’t buy the alcohol – all because I had left my wallet at home. I felt very embarrassed, but no problem – I bought the alcohol somewhere else.

I absolutely love shopping here as I always find something that brings back found memories . This time it was Belvoir really amazing stuff for a great prices .

Staff were helpful, and had a good laugh with the guy at the counter
