⭐ 1/5 – Really disappointing birthday experience I went to Odeon on my birthday, really excited to watch Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. I’m 15, which is the correct age for the film, but I was still asked for ID. I don’t have any form of ID because I don’t own a passport, and I wasn’t expecting to need one just to see a movie. Because of this, I wasn’t allowed in, and it completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun birthday outing. I understand checking ages is important, but there should be a more reasonable way to handle situations like this — especially when someone is clearly the right age and it’s a special occasion. Really disappointing experience, and it definitely took the excitement out of my birthday visit.
My usual go to cinema, love the recliners and the sound system. If you book through the app you can pre-order food and staff generally helpfull/friendly. Last occasion however absolutely no hot food, and there's no getting away from the fact its at the top end of what im willing to pay
This cinema is simply the best in east Yorkshire. We have my limitless pass, and we love coming here. The reclining seats give you that extra luxury when watching your favourite films. I can't recommend it enough, never disappointed
This cinema offers a truly fantastic experience, featuring very comfortable seating and consistently friendly and helpful staff. They also provide an excellent selection of snacks. While it may be slightly more expensive than other cinemas in the vicinity, the quality of the experience certainly justifies the price.
Absolutely first class service. Took my autistic grandson to see Gabbys dollhouse today, my phone was hacked, lost all my bank card details and e tickets. Had no money, explained to the manager what had happened, in the meantime my grandson was getting very agitated due to the wait, the manager showed me the screen, let me choose the seats best for my grandson and scanned us in. Couldn’t have asked for anything better, totally understood the difficulty my grandson was experiencing, service was speedy, very courteous and first class. Well done Odeon of Hull.
