Janet is the perfect hostess, the house is lovely and I have stayed in five star hotels that are not as comfortable or as well appointed - and then there's the gardens! Doreen and Annie, who help with the room servicing are both a joy. I can't recommend this guest house highly enough, so much so, I'm booking two more weeks there!
Brilliant place. The room was amazing :) thank you. First floor room very spacious. Will be back here when I visit family.
What a fabulous hidden gem, proper Yorkshire hospitality , excellent breakfast with butchers sausages and bacon cooked to perfection. Lovely lady owner who put us in a very large room with a very comfortable bed and some beautiful pieces of furniture. The bathroom is so nice, huge walk in shower , there's a fridge, microwave and TV in the room also. Parking is provided too . We will be back :)
Good breakfast with lots of choice. Comfortable bedrooms. Really good shower. Warm, friendly welcome on arrival. Plenty of parking to front of property. Excellent location. Regular bus service to city. Wi fi available.
Nice landlady. Spacious room with large ensuite. Micro wave, kettle, tea/ coffee in room, fridge aswell. Lovely large back garden which is accessible. Car parking at front . Only downside were the beds - very hard and for us very uncomfortable. Pillows also very hard.
