Park hotel and apartments

I stayed at Park Hotel and Apartment Hull for two days while visiting Hull University for my friend’s graduation ceremony. The location is excellent and very close to the railway station, city centre, and the university, which made travelling very easy and convenient during our stay. We booked a full apartment with two bedrooms, a hall, and a kitchen. The whole apartment and the hotel were clean, well maintained, and comfortable to stay in. The rooms were spacious and suitable for a short stay with friends or family. The staff was very nice, polite, and helpful whenever they were available. However, there were times when no one was present at the reception, which made it slightly inconvenient to get assistance. Despite the positives, many basic facilities were missing, which affected our overall experience. There were no amenities provided in the bathrooms. No soap, no shampoo, no body wash, and no shower gel were available, which is something guests usually expect. The kitchen did not have kitchen towels, and no drinking water was provided in the apartment. Although there were three TVs in the apartment, none of them supported online platforms like Netflix or YouTube, which felt outdated. Considering the amount they charged, the stay did not feel worth the price. While the cleanliness, staff behavior, and location were good, the lack of basic amenities and services made the experience average overall.

This hotel is in a great location and breakfast was exceptionally good but the greatest compliment i can give goes to the reception staff, in particular a lady called Niki who was brimming with warmth and good humour. She was so very accommodating throughout our stay and helped us enormously when our car broke down and had to be recovered from the hotel. Her willingness to assist in the matter even after our departure enabled us to return home and leave the matter in her hands. Thank you. Will definitely recommend.

Very basic accommodation. I stayed for 5 nights (my partner was in Hospital). Bed was not made,mugs were not washed, l chose to eat in my room, plates were not removed. Dirty shower mat was placed over shower door on the one occasion someone did come into my room. Staff were abrupt apart from the woman behind the bar in the evening who was lovely and helpful.

Outdid expectations Just opposite tesco garage back of St Stevens shopping centee,so good for food hall,snacks and shopping.Also for visiting hull,I went to City hall- only short walk/£ 4.50 in Uber. Room clean,tea and coffee,unsuited shower.All you can eat breakfast😊 Advertised also as bar and grill..I didn't sample this however.Staff extremely helpful,both front desk and restaurant. Decor was attractive Definitely would stay again..(.£60 booking.com) incl large buffet and cooked breakfast

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!MY BED SHEETS AND ROOM WAS VERY DIRTY!! I went to get in to bed folded the sheets back, and noticed the sheets hadn't been changed. Found black hairs and stains on the sheets. Only got 25% of my money back....never stay here. on the same night it happened to my brother in a different room...the bathroom is also cover in black mould. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!MY BED SHEETS NOT CLEAN, ROOM WAS VERY DIRTY!!
