Village Hotel Hull

I’ve been staying regularly for work over the past few months and it’s always a pleasure coming to visit. The rooms are a good size, comfortable beds and big TVs! They are always cleaned to a high standard and refreshed well, if you need hang your “Freshen Up” sign on the door. Breakfast is always great, especially with Lindsay and Jo at the helm. Lindsay even went to her car to get me some de-icer this week, talk about going above and beyond! The other servers are lovely too and every one of them is more than happy to accommodate my annoying oat milk needs! Important to mention the amazing kitchen staff too, who are always ready to cook lovely poached eggs on request. Andy and all the other bar staff are super friendly and there’s a good vibe in there, with sporting events and now even digital dart boards! Reception staff make you feel really welcome and are always there help out with your needs, whether you’ve forgotten a toothbrush or need to borrow a hole punch, they’re there. The gym staff are great and the gym itself has recently benefited from a refurb, which has meant it’s doubled in size. The pool, steam room and sauna are a brilliant touch too. Best hotel gym I’ve been too. Big thanks to all the staff for making The Village a relaxing, welcoming and comfortable environment to be in.

Lovely place to stay & good location. Has gym & swimming pool. Rooms are nice, clean & have everything you need. Best part of the Hotel for me though are the lovely ladies at breakfast time, Lindsay & Jo Never have I enjoyed going to breakfast so much before & the highlight of my morning. They are absolutely amazing, so welcoming & couldn't do enough for me, making sure I have everything I need to start me off for the day. Their professionalism & customer service is a credit to the hotel. Although the hotel was good they were most definitely the only reason I continued to come back to this hotel whilst on a project in Hull & why I gave the service 5 stars..

The staff at this hotel were outstanding and very accommodating, they couldnt do enough for you. reception staff welcoming and checked us in. bar staff and manageress fantastic, they set us up with a game of darts. We ate at the restaurant food was fab Rooms large and clean! swim, gym area good. thankyou for a lovely stay ❤️

Attended New Years eve gala function, with overnight stay at the Village hotel yesterday, this was our first stay with this hotel chain. The event was amazing👏👏. It was very well organised, I could see that everyone was having a great time. The icing on the cake, was the fabulous 4 course meal, compliments to the chef!!!, the dishes looked and tasted delicious 👍. I loved the decor of the hotel and the rooms, which was very comfortable.As much as we enjoyed our stay, unfortunately we did not enjoy the breakfast ☹️. Sadly it was very cold, the bacon and sausages could have benefitted with a little more browning and crispiness, this must have been an "off" day, as a few people who have frequented the hotel explained the breakfast is normally lovely. I would definitely stay again at the hotel, but might look at other breakfast options. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating 😊

We visited and stayed here for a wedding the staff were friendly, the room included breakfast with a wide range of choice kids loved this. Beds were comfy and rooms had a kettle hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities. They also had a spa pool we never used this but friends did and said it was nice. Would stay again
