Always clean and warm in the colder months. Very good prices for beers etc. DJ / karaoke on at various times. Can get a bit noisy but what else would you expect from a vibrant town centre venue.
Town centre pub. Limited choice of beers but decent prices and the staff seemed OK, because... It was a Saturday evening, around 7:30ish, the DJ was banging out old music at full blast. Wasn't sure if the other customers were just having fun or totally ratted! I might well try it again, when I can hear myself think and interact with people - definitely not on a Saturday evening.
Nice cheap pint, good honest people. Just need a darts mat down and scorer for the dartboard and you would get 5 stars.
Poor quality drinks and expensive in our town. Atmosphere was better a few years ago. Recently got a new landlord. Hopefully things will improve.
A good and reasonably priced town pub. Plenty of atmosphere because it always seems busy with drinkers.
