I went to refuel as I do it every week for 10f. I used distributor number 2. I went to the store, I paid for fuel, I returned to the car, and i find out I don't have fuel. I came back to the store, very helpful ladies told me that my fuel tip is broken, and the pumps are working properly. I went to asda petrol station, I refueled for 10f and it turned out that my fuel tip works perfectly. thank god I don't refuel for 50f ... Of course, I won't get my money back, because ladies said it wasn't their fault. the worst help I have received. I hope they don't get paid and they'll tell them it's not their system's fault but their bank's.
Since Sainsburys made this outlet an unmanned one it has become almost painful to use. On the rare occasions that the scanner works it is tolerable, the rest of the time it's an actual struggle and I'm tempted to use another Petrol Station.
It's a modern, town-centre petrol station. The pumps let you pay at them, or inside and the hoses reach over your car if you don't get to use one next to your filler cap. The shop's clean and well-stocked, and the staff are as you'd expect from Sainsbury's. The only problem is if you're turning right when leaving it - it's a nightmare to get out of if it's busy and you're at the mercy of the traffic lights and the good-will of other drivers to let you out.
There is good and bad in everything, the problem with this petrol station is the location, the entrance is on a busy set of traffic lights, with very little space, expect on the pumps themselves. The exit is difficult, especially when turning right, often you have to rely on someone on the main road giving way, when you should be giving way as you are joining the main road, basically it is down to bad planning and design, it should never have been allowed.
As an unstaffed forecourt it's OK, but when they are out of fuel they lock the pumps with no signs outside to say what they have or haven't got left. Loads of people pulling up, paying, then finding out that the pump handles are locked.
