matthew is a gem!! absolutely fab service and very cheerful! “this guy is hilarous” from us the food was speedy to come out, and stayed hot for a while. i liked you can see the wood fire for the pizza too! the goats cheese and pepper pizza was great, we got a choice of honey (hot or not) and the double cheese was super good. not stingey with the cheese! our chicken and mushroom pasta was veggie, and mushrooms were really good in specific because they were buttery and double checked about our dietary requirements a lot which was great! good portion and left us all filled up. the spaghetti bolognese was a classic, noodles were quite thick and made me soooo full thank you chef. we will return and we hope king matthew is working because he is an asset and really funny
Really nice visit, one of the best places I have been to in a long while. Was greeted at the door and seated straight away, given some time for drinks orders and food order taken shortly after. Food was very hot, full of flavour and a good size for the price, we were both very pleased. Dessert was a disappointment (price, size and quality). Staff were attentive (didn't over do it which was good), friendly and helpful. Would very much recommend and will definitely revisit if back.

Team were friendly and greeted us straight away. Made us feel really welcome. Food was delicious … definitely try the chilli cheesy fries! (margarita with added roasted mushrooms/calabrese calzone as mains were awesome) lovely atmosphere…chilled Monday night dinning :)
I'm so used to looking around for waiting staff so I can get a drink, but not here, Matthew and his colleague were so on the ball - offering drinks before we knew we needed them. The food was delicious and served quickly. Spot on!
