Ever had a band you love drop a new album and announce a tour, only for the tickets to vanish in seconds? It’s the worst, right? Well, for fans of Pendulum, there’s some seriously good news. After releasing their brilliant new album, Inertia, the band announced a massive UK tour, and the response was so huge that they’ve had to add another date in London. It seems everyone wants a piece of the Pendulum live experience, and who can blame them? Their shows are legendary.

More dates added? You bet

So, here’s the scoop. The demand for tickets to see Pendulum live has been off the charts. The original London show on their November 2025 tour sold out in a flash. Instead of leaving people disappointed, the band and the organisers at Live Nation Entertainment have done the decent thing and added a second night at the iconic O2 Academy Brixton. This extra show is happening on Friday, 7th November 2025, giving more fans a chance to catch them.

Before the main tour kicks off, Pendulum are also playing a few special, smaller shows called out store dates this September to celebrate the release of Inertia. They’re hitting up Liverpool, Leeds, and Glasgow for these intimate gigs. Imagine seeing a band that usually plays massive venues in a much smaller space – it’s a completely different vibe. They played Camp And Furnace in Liverpool on Thursday 11th September, and are heading to other cities soon.

Here are all the upcoming UK dates you need to know about:

So, what's this new album Inertia all about?

Okay, let's talk about the new album. It’s called Inertia, and it’s a big one. Described as a 16-track "emotional maelstrom," it’s basically a whirlwind of powerful feelings and sounds. This isn't just another collection of songs; it’s said to be the band’s most personal work ever. The journey to create Inertia started back in 2020 and grew out of their last two EPs, 2021's Elemental and 2023's Anima EPs. Think of those EPs as sketches; Inertia is the finished masterpiece.

One of the coolest things about the album is the sheer number of collaborations. Pendulum have teamed up with some amazing artists from different corners of the music world. The tracklist features guest spots from rock giants Bullet For My Valentine, the alternative sounds of AWOLNATION, and the intense energy of rapper Scarlxrd. These collaborations make for a really interesting mix, blending Pendulum’s signature electronic-rock sound with fresh new influences. It’s the kind of project that has everyone talking, from long-time fans to industry insiders like Aimee McIntosh, who recognise the creative ambition behind it.

Finding their sound, inspired by The Prodigy

Bands change over time. It’s natural. For Pendulum, this new album was about figuring out who they are now. Rob Swire, one of the main forces behind the band, explained how he saw it as a test. He said: “I was basically testing how far we could push Pendulum. Seeing what we could get away with. I always looked at The Prodigy as the benchmark.”

That’s a brilliant comparison. The Prodigy started in the rave scene but became something totally unique. They weren't just a "breakbeat" act; they were simply The Prodigy. That’s the level of identity Pendulum was aiming for with Inertia. They didn't want to be boxed into one genre; they just wanted to be Pendulum.

Rob also got surprisingly personal about the inspiration behind the album’s emotional depth. “It’s the sound of Pendulum finding themselves again, and me figuring myself out to a certain extent,” he said. “Breakups do that - they strip things down and show you who you are. I’m just trying not to become the guy who needs to go through one just to make a record.” It’s that kind of honesty that connects with people and makes the music feel so real. He's channelling real-life stuff into the music, and it shows.

How to get your hands on tickets

Right, the important bit. How do you get tickets for this massive tour? With the extra date at the O2 Academy Brixton, there’s another chance for fans in and around London. Tickets for the new show on Friday, 7th November 2025, go on general sale on Friday, 12th September at 9 am.

Given how quickly the first London date sold out, it’s a safe bet that these tickets will fly off the shelves too. So, if you want to be there, singing along to the new tracks from Inertia and classics, it's a good idea to be ready when they go on sale. Seeing Pendulum live is an experience you don’t forget in a hurry. It’s loud, it’s energetic, and it’s exactly what live music should be about. This tour is set to be one of the highlights of 2025.
