|Whether it's fishing, train rides or just skimming stones you're after, there's always a great way to spend time together this Father's Day in Yorkshire:
Fishing

Sea-fishing is a great bonding activity and there are regular excursions for beginners and the more advanced alike from the picturesque harbour of Whitby. Your boat will leave harbour under the shadow of the gothic Whitby Abbey and for afterwards there are a host of fish & chip cafes or seafood restaurants to choose from. For those who aren't into fishing, pirate boat trips are also available!
