Welcome to Yorkshire
This May, families are in for a treat at White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds, where an exciting new adventure awaits. From Friday 1 May to Sunday 31 May, the centre will host a delightful augmented reality (A.R.) trail featuring Shaun the Sheep and his farmyard friends—perfect for a fun day out during the half-term.
Shaun the Sheep A.R. Trail

The Shaun the Sheep: Fun with the Flock augmented reality trail invites families to take part in a free, interactive adventure, bringing the much-loved character to life in 3D. Visitors can find nine special markers throughout the centre, each unlocking an interactive A.R. scene with Shaun and his friends.
Families can:
Complete fun challenges with Bitzer the dog
Pose alongside animated characters for photos
Capture videos to share with friends and family
Half-Term Activities
Alongside the A.R. trail, White Rose will host a range of family-friendly activities, including:
Aardman clay-modelling workshops on 28 and 29 May
Special appearances from Shaun the Sheep on 27 May
These activities give children the chance to get creative and meet their favourite characters.
How to Take Part
Families can pick up a trail map and a free Shaun the Sheep headband from Guest Services. As they explore, they’ll also discover artist-designed Shaun the Sheep sculptures dotted around the centre.
Once the trail is completed, children will receive a sticker prize, and adults can enter a draw to win a £100 gift card by signing up to the PLUS+ rewards programme.
What to Expect
Deputy Centre Director Ashleigh Kellett said the trail promises a fun and quirky experience, with interactive workshops, character meet-and-greets and eye-catching sculptures all adding to the atmosphere. Combined with a wide range of shops, restaurants and entertainment, White Rose is set to be a top destination for a family day out this half-term.
Getting Started
To take part, visitors can download the Fun with the Flock app and enter the location code 2503, either in advance or on arrival. Alternatively, the trail can be completed manually by exploring the centre and finding the markers.
