White Rose Argos (Inside Sainsbury's)

Appalling and arrogant staff, avoid Argos! I bought 2 toilet seats at Argos in White Rose Shopping Centre. I've opened the basic plastic wrapping for one of them to check if it fits, otherwise there's no way of checking, unfortunately it doesn't. So I tried to return both of them on the same day: 1. I've only been offered refund for one of them 2. The staff arrogantly doesn't listen to my explanation and kept on insisting because the plastic wrapping is opened, no refund can be offered for the other one. Therefore I would advise to others at the very least: 1. Avoid buying toilet seats at Argos because it harms consumers by forcing them to take up unfit products. 2. Avoid Argos all together as you don't want to go through the awful experience I've been through

Don’t bother going here, staff watch you ordering and when you walk to till the lights go off and they tell you they are closed even though they served the lady before us. Never seen someone whip the cash till out so quick just to avoid us getting our item. 3 of them talking behind till, they could of easily politely told us that they close soon so to “hurry up” to the till. I work in customer service myself and would never be rude like this to a customer, just to leave work on the dot, will be going elsewhere in future.

I taught I was the only one from the BAME community that had this experience from the Agros white rose brand . They are very horrible when it comes to black people. It’s the second time I have been treated so unfairly because of the colour of my skin. The lady I meant when I arrived to return my item first pretended not hot have seen me and then just continued chatting with her colleagues as if I was a sign post until the manager came from inside the store to ask if I had been attending to which then make her noticed me and reluctantly ask me what I wanted and I said I wanted to return the item I bought and she straight away said that’s not a fault and from there it was drama and she looked for every details on the item to make such I didn’t get a refund and finally came out with it’s been used and we can’t take it and went for her manager who also backed her up and I was so angry but as I gentle man who I am I asked for the manager who tried to explain the reasons but I already knew there wasn’t any and they just wanted to prove a point to me. For me it’s less than 400yrds to where I live but from now on if I really need to buy from Agros I will go to a different place even though it’s miles away to get a better service 😡😡

Went in today to return some economic remote control cars and the lady that served me was brilliant I’m not well and keep getting a it confused she was really patient with me and helped me to return them and then helped me with a high chair I was purchasing so just wanted to say say the customer service was really good and really appreciated

I bought a pair of headphones which cost £ 170. As soon as I got home I tried them on and found them uncomfortable. I never used them, i just tried them on. I tried to return them for the reason mentioned above but I was refused on the grounds that they were unsealed. You are not offered the opportunity to try them before paying, so in conclusion you buy blindfolded and you cannot return them once opened. So I bought this pair of headphones that I can't use and I have no way to return them. It's not fair, a horrible company, I will never buy from them again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
