Don’t frequent this store as often as I should but that has all changed today! A most pleasant and helpful check out assistant- think his name was John - made my day. I’m a stickler for good customer service and he did just that. I will certainly shop there more often from now

Visited today to restock our van for our tour of Yorkshire. The lady on the kiosk was so very helpful and patient as I seem to overload myself with food. I didn’t catch her name but I only wish my local Co-op down south had such pleasant assistants.

Good range of goods, fresh, frozen, canned and packaged. It has a mix of manned and self checkouts and there are both baskets and trollies available. There is also a variety of beers, wines and spirits. Parking is available in the market square, directly opposite the store.

Sadly the first bit of rude service I've had since arriving in Yorkshire. Till operator happy to chat to locals but I was told not to pack at the till but refill my trolley and pack from there. Thought that was unique to Lidl/Aldi.
