Absolutely the best store. What really stands out is the staff their friendliness, professionalism, and kindness are unmatched. The quality of their products is on another level ( specially the organic one ), and you can tell they pay attention to every detail. Just have a look at their leaflets!!! The Lovely Minwood branch is especially impressive.

Great supermarket but pricey. The cafe however needs some work! Tables are always dirty and never wiped down and never enough staff to deal with the amount of people passing through. Staff working here are not happy but I am convinced that is because they are stretched too thin! I hope a Manager reads this and takes time to review the operation.

The experience of shopping here mostly boils down to: - Staff just talking amongst themselves about when each of them is finishing their shift, then staring morosely into the air. - Avoiding eye contact as they noisily crash crates of vegetables into place - Running around with a trolley to pick orders for the oldies, pretty much ramming you out the way - The car park, which people use as a sort of Formula One race track with oldies for traffic cones, or as parking practice for their SUVs On the plus side: + They open checkouts for you quickly. + The checkout assistants ask with vague interest "are you alright", and I say "Good, thank you" to confuse them completely which always brightens my mood I'm sad that the self service checkouts now only says "Thank you for shopping at Waitrose" kind of abruptly. Much preferred the "Waitrose and Partners" checkout voice from before, much more friendly.

I was quite surprised to see some empty shelves on my mid week visit and I recommend working on signage. There were lots of instances where it took me a while to find the self serve checkouts and I had no idea where the escalators went.

I like shopping at Waitrose. Everything is at good quality, just a little pricey. This store is too far from my home. It would be great if one more shop at the south side of Leeds.
