Holiday Inn Express Middlesbrough - Centre Square by IHG

This is by far THE best holiday inn we have stayed in. Immaculately clean, the food was delicious and the staff so friendly. The bed was so comfortable and the rooms were equips with everything you need. Definitely be back again

Had a lovely stay overnight. Lovely clean hotel. Room was spacious and great view of Christmas decorations in the street below. The staff were lovely and helpful me with food to eat because of my gluten free issues. Amanda was just brilliant. Felt treated special. Thank you all 😁

Booked to stay here as I was in town to see Skindred at Middlesbrough Town Hall, just over the road. There's plenty of parking at the Cleveland Centre car park, which is situated on the third floor of the hotel and has a door to access the hotel. We received a friendly greeting at reception, and our room had a great view over the Centre Square opposite. The room was very clean and had a double sized walk in shower and comfy beds. I was able to order vegan sausages and vegan baked beans for breakfast, but no mushrooms... Overall a very good hotel with decent facilities, great staff, and near to Middlesbrough centre. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very disappointed in this hotel. Have had amazing stays at other hotels. I am a wheelchair user. I drive my own vehicle and the parking at this hotel mad absolutely no sense or the entrance from the parking lot to this hotel. In order for me to get from the parking lot to the hotel I had to exit the parking via a downward ramp and go around the building on the street to the front door at main reception. This is not a friendly place for wheelchair users. Was extremely disappointed with the food as well. My daughter refused to eat breakfast because dishes were not clean and the eggs looked green. Using an electric wheelchair was not easy with thickly the carpeted room and hallways. Will select very carefully the next hotels we use. This hotel should take a page out of the amazing Newcastle branch and see what is truly an amazing experience.

5 days in this hotel and I'm very confident to say I was very happy. The staff was very friendly and discreet in the same time (gave me a mini fridge in the room, prepared special food for me, as I am diabetic), the conditions was also very good. And it's located in the heart of the city. I will book this hotel next time when I'll come to Middlesbrough. 100% recommend this hotel
