•Residents and community organisations in Bradford can apply for a grant of up to £250 to put on a Coronation event in their neighbourhoods. The closing date for these grants is Sunday 2 April 2023.

The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III will be celebrated across the country and The Commonwealth and marked with a three-day bank holiday weekend from Saturday 6 May to Monday 8 May 2023.
There will be events and activities across the district celebrate this momentous occasion.
We have received some funding from the Department of Culture Media and Sport via the West Yorkshire Combined Authority to help the district celebrate and flags and bunting will be going up in the city centre and in Bingley, Ilkley, Keighley and Shipley.
City Hall will be lit up in red, white and blue and the bells of City Hall clock tower will ring out in celebration and the Coronation Ceremony and the Coronation Concert will be shown live on the Big Screen in Centenary Square.
