This is a long overdue review. I was enticed to enter into this store on my last visit to York. The proprietor was a delightful young man who did not mind answering any of my many questions. There is some beautiful artwork from a variety of artists, I think my favourite being #BillyConnolly. His art is very spontaneous and a little bit weird. Anyway it was an absolute pleasure visiting the studio, the gentleman knew his products well. Now I just need to save up so I can afford the painting I want!!!
Amazing experience, came to look at what they had and were greeted by James, he was fantastic and knew his stuff, then we looked around and were looked after by the wonderful Lucy! She was welcoming, attentive, friendly and accommodating. The experience was great, we left and I couldn't get over how good it was and we purchased the item we discussed, went back and finalised the deal, thank you Lucy!
Lovely gallery with friendly owners. Visited for a local artist exhibition and it was organised well.
Bought some lovely pieces from here. They were very knowledgeable about the artists we were looking for and extremely helpful in our choices. A very good deal on price and it included installation in our home. Dan was exceptional when hanging our pieces and was very careful, both in his own work, and also in taking great care not to affect anything else - unlike most workmen. After installation, we had a change of heart on one of the pieces. Stuart and his team were very helpful in arranging a swap over for a new piece by the same artist and, once again, Dan did a fantastic job in switching them over. He's a real asset to this company.
Brilliant Gallery! I attended the event they had with Peter and Jayne Smith. What wonderful hosts, very helpful and accommodating - even had a spread of snacks and drinks. A lovely selection of art with very knowledgeable staff - this will be one of my regulars :-)
