Really handy Co-op with a wide selection. Special thanks to the checkout lady who spotted our purchases and told us if we added two drinks we would qualify for a meal deal discount. A nice personal touch!

I went into the Eastgate Co-op this morning, 12 September 2018, at about 10 a.m. I am sorry to say my shopping experience was far from good. The staff were most unhelpful, verging on the surly; and the shop floor was cluttered with so many of those large trolley things used to stock shelves - some full and some empty, that i and other customers had difficulty getting to the goods. Needless to say I will not be shopping there again. Maybe the staff need to be better trained and monitored, after all when there are no customers there is no job!

A slow attendant gave bad service... after sighting x1 cashier to service the long que this bright spark decided to stop serving and verify all the money in the till has pukka and not a forgery. Whilst I'm sure important does surfing payings customer also feature in the job description. Yours not happy was late
