Life savers Preparing for long drive when noticed loud banging under car when driving checked and found engine cover had come away. Called kwik fit Ripon spoke to Nathan who said bring it down straight away. 20 minutes later problem sorted Nathan was superb and couldn’t have been any more helpful thank you….deserves a Xmas bonus kwikfit
I had a double problem to deal with today - a flat tyre and a missing locking wheel nut. I was swift to accuse Kwik Fit of losing the locking wheel nut - I certainly haven't touched it and they had been the last to change my tyres, but one of the team - Nathan, realised that the wheels had been removed after my last visit to Ripon Kwik Fit so do some work on the brakes. Despite my false accusation (!) Nathan was outstanding. He was gracious in accepting my apology and went to super-human lengths to fix the problem for me and get me back on the road. The service was exceptional and Nathan totally saved the day. Thank you so much!
Oil level warning came on as we were passing close by. Popped in and the guy checked it, sorted it and we were back on the road in no time. Super friendly service and wished us a Merry Christmas as we left!
Excellent service. Was seen to straight away with no appointment, the issue was fixed within 15 minutes and there was no charge. Very helpful and efficient staff, highly recommend!
I needed a new headlight bulb, so for convenience as I have two young children and not much spare time, I pulled in and asked if they’d be able to change it for me, two of the men on shift tried and were not able to get the old one out and said I’d have to book in for them to take the bumper and full headlight taken out so they could take a closer look. After leaving I watched a 2 minute YouTube video and thought it looks easy enough to do myself so went back to see if I could buy a bulb - however they said they’d need to fit it or I’d be charged £20 for a single bulb. I then went to a car garage, bought a bulb for £6 and fit it myself in less than 5 minutes. My concern is that two trained mechanics are unable to replace a bulb. Customer service skills were also absolutely shocking. Will not be returning, staff are clueless.
