We were waiting to check out with a staff member because we were using a gift card. We initially thought someone else was being served, as a staff member was standing on the customer side of the counter. A young employee was also standing there and gave us a look that made us feel uncomfortable and awkward, almost as if she was making fun of us. She then looked at her coworkers in the same way. Fortunately, an older lady served us in the end—she was lovely and even suggested we sign up for the Matalan card for offers.

Friendly staff member who assisted me in trying to find items I required and she went and asked as she wasn't sure. We found the item but didn't have size I required. Only had age 10yrs required 4yrs. Think end of stock

Nipped here on the off chance after trying 4 other retailers and found everything I needed within minutes! The shop is well laid out and the staff at the till were so friendly even though it was only 10 mins before closing. Will definitely be making Matalan my first stop in future, thank you :)

Shame not more a choice for the bigger ladies we not all skinny minnies im afraid but the men's section has improved in choice this last few years will give better rating when more choice for the sizes 22 24 and 26 I used to love the Rogers and Rogers range and when newlook are neglecting bigger ladies clothing it's a market that need to be looked at over the past 10 years I've been a 18 right up to a 26 and I can't find great clothes anywhere that's affordable even primark does clothes to fit me now 😢 please get more choices on please and longer leg length and nearly 6ft trousers for a 5ft6 lady won't work for me
