Walked in with my son and he was so excited to buy some book and a female member of staff kept watching him, shaking her head and tutting. Then both her and a male staff were clearly speaking about my son because he touched a book as they kept looking at him. If you don't want anyone touching stuff in your store, have it all behind the tills! No wonder it always empty when you go in, rude staff! There is seriously no need!
Was looking for an art supply shop so drove 15 minutes to this store. Arrived to see the store only accepts cash. What? Everyone nowadays accepts electronic payments! But not this store. Madness! So I went elsewhere.
Love this shop and the choice that's available. Also love that I can get round the store easily in my wheelchair without risk of getting stuck. The staff are particularly helpful and welcoming and always willing to go the extra mile. It's rare that I find a Works as disabled friendly as this one. Definitely my favourite to shop in.
I bought a packet of pegs (45 pegs in a packet) worth £1 this Saturday and I didn't bother about getting myself a receipt. I got those pegs to hang a few pictures in my room. 45 pictures to be exact. I opened them and started hanging my pictures without counting how many was there inside the packet because it was already mentioned 45 in the packet. When I reached 40 is when I realized I have no more pegs for my last 5 pictures. Well, that shouldn't happen because I paid for 45 pegs not 40 pegs. I decided to report this on Monday which is is today because I bought this on Saturday afternoon and opened them in the evening and because it's a weekend I couldn't go back to the shop. I went to the shop this afternoon and took a packet of pegs from the shelf and went towards one of their staff, a young lady and explained what happened and then another senior staff interrupted and I gave her a brief about the incident. The first thing she asked is if I had my receipt which I obviously didn't have and she immediately said she can't do anything about it. The reason why I walked into that store is not for a refund or for a replacement packet but to let them know about the whole incident and make sure this doesn't happen with the other customers. Honestly, I was so disappointed seeing her attitude towards me. She kept telling me that there's nothing she could do, but report it to her manager or whom ever concerned. Well to be honest, that's exactly what I wanted but that's not how I expect you're staff to behave towards you're customers. She's right, I didn't have a receipt but she could have listened to what I was saying. I wanted to talk about the quality of the pegs too because it was really bad butI couldn't talk about it. The whole point is about the way she deals a Customer, I came to the store to talk about something I bought from the store and if the employees aren't ready to listen to their customers I'm sorry to say you guy's are a failure. Very very disappointing. Will never recommend you're store to anyone.
Helpful staff found what I needed. Lots of children's books very cheap.loads of art and craft activities.
