Second time we've been here to play darts, it's not the cheapest but it does have some fun games that calculate everything for you and control the game. It's always busy but the beers are quite expensive compared to other pubs in town.
Rude manager. Double-booked, it happens but the way my group was treated by the manager is not acceptable. I showed the booking confirmation (via Messenger with The Works) to the waiter and she was very apologetic, offered us to book a slot next week and as a compensation, we were offered free shots. We were waiting at the entrance and all of the sudden the manager came up, asking us to leave. She was rude and screaming - making it uncomfortable for my myself and my group! I had the proof of booking and it was my fiance’s birthday. Very disappointed with the service and the way we were treated. It could be done with kindness, the waiter did it all correctly however the manager failed. Date of experience: April 11th 2025
Absolutely shite!! DONT BOOK we booked hen party karaoke room and they double booked. Service is rubbish they just get pissed having shots all night what load rubbish!!!!!
Staff didn’t show until 20 minutes after they said they were supposed to be opened, staff gave us both a free drink. Both staff members were vaping behind the bar and floors were clearly not clean to say they had just opened. Was an okay place to visit but not going back again.
Unique place in Barnsley, Shuffleboard, darts and pool table available. DJ playing some good tunes too.
