Everytime i go in or many other a shorter lady slways comr In to have a go at everone and if anyone in there is younger she asks people who dont have alcahol and what no t for ID well they dont so you cant but it or energy drinks, she does it as a power trip and all the other staff get abuse off her everytime even after chrcking id for example if you buy a singular beer she will give the staff memeber abuse and have a go at them if someone else looks similar age in the store as if a singular beer for one person is criminal behaviour, she gives abuse to staff, customers and anyone she can have power over, never helpful and always wants an arguement, shocking from the co op
Shelfs always look bare prices a little high but ok for emergency bits
It's now like a dimly lit morgue as away from the windows (at the front only) some kind of green economy drive means the lights are on half power you can't even see if any veg you pick up is going rotten (and you need to look). Then the real checkouts have all but disappeared and if one is open there will be a big queue as anyone with more than half a dozen items won't want to use self checkout with several staff hanging about watching your every move. It's pricey too, in short a truly dreadful place to be avoided at all costs.
Dreadful service, staff more interested in chatting with each other than serving customers. Always long queue's If I could give it less than one star I would! Thought I would also post a picture of the inside of one of their "irresistible" sandwiches, I contacted the customer care line and they did not even bother to answer! Avoid this store at all costs, go to the small one in the high street instead, far far better service. Update - customer care finally contacted me about two weeks after I complained- we shall see what they say
Quite a good store, albeit a bit pricier than the other top supermarkets but pretty well stocked and 3 hours of parking so one can visit the very nice high street. Plenty of good, local shops. Nice to be able to visit a big store plus goid independents.
