I like B and M, this one has loads of parking, massive store with everything you need. Love it. What I don't love is because you have children the security really do follow you around or watch you for a while which makes you feel on edge and a bit like they think your going to rob some spam or something and believe me I don't need to. However the most disappointing thing is a till worker. The children were so excited by getting to choose their own Christmas toys so were giggling, exited and wanting to pack their own bags and I had made a simple comment in front of my husband saying "We can organise our bags in the car, this lady has a lot of people to serve, so let's not hold her up because that que is quite long". As I turned back to the till to pay the £250 she was staring at me like I was something from another planet with teeth exposed, compete with side eye, BUT said nothing. Pink hair, half shaved off, nose pierced like cattle and I couldn't understand what I had said wrong but it did make my children who are very young, and all females very uncomfortable. When we got into the car my husband said she's probably one of those ones who don't know what she is or is a bit of both and were supposed to say they or them but I am a person who has always said her/him as there is only 2 genders. Whilst I have no problem with people being who they are, how they feel, how they dress or choices they make, because it affects me not one iota were all unique. I won't be made to feel like I've done something wrong because I don't use those pronouns. I was also dressed in jeans and a man's Hoody, so you get my point! This is all new ish and if in fact that was the case and what offended her I can't apologise because I didn't say anything wrong, and I don't think to be honest what ever you are, however you call yourself should BE an issue working a till. I was polite, I was kind, I said my please and thank you's and I make sure my children are well behaved as they always are. What ever else is going on needs to be not only kept out the work place but also away from customers.
Excellent customer service! We asked a store assistant for help while purchasing a table. He kindly brought us a flatbed trolley, but when the table didn’t fit properly, he went above and beyond—helping us carry it to the till and then to the car. As it wouldn’t fit in the car boxed, he quickly ran back to fetch a box opener and assisted us in unboxing and loading it safely. McKenzie was a true asset to the company—professional, helpful, and genuinely customer-focused.
Absolutely no staff on the floor, when I found someone she just walked off without checking if I needed anything else (which I did). When I found her again serving another customer, I said I hadn't finished and she told me oh well, I'm finished now and walked off. I've given 1 star as 0 stars isn't an option.
Friendly happy smiling staff worth a visit good prices very welcoming.
Large B+M store selling cheaper goods! Polite staff!
