Although there is a half price sale on at the moment here, I feel prices have been increased above the norm so you are only getting goods at normal price anyway! Prices on the shelf do not correspond with the scanning price. My partner noticed this and was told by the manageress it wasn't her fault, no attempt to honour the price shown. She became very rude and unprofessional and even resorted to shouting at my partner who told her to stop. Sadly the store is closing but would never go back after today's events
Visited this store today for a refund from the store in Ripon. Staff were extremely helpful, not straight forward, the store is spotlessly clean well stocked and a credit to the manager.
It says %50 off your basket. What you don't realise is that everything has been doubled in price. The last time I will use this store. WHAT A CON....
I like Poundstretcher shops as they have a good variety and selection of useful everyday stock and lovely garden items - always well worth a visit as reasonable prices too.
Just been here and was absolutely shocked. 2 staff were filling shelves and were chatting while doing this. No problem with them chatting but the language coming from one of them was unbelievable and even included the f word. This conversation was not a quiet conversation as I heard it from 2 aisles away vow to never go in this store again and am left feeling utterly disgusted that this is allowed to happen.
