Halfords - Wakefield

I called in last night at 5.45 22/12 with a stone chip in my windscreen, that was after contacting a nationwide windscreen repair company that wasn't able to do anything for me until the 29th!!! I was expecting to be booked it for another day only to be pleasantly surprised by the lady behind the desk and a gentleman called Sam who said they could do it straight away after a quick inspection. The repair only cost £45 and true to his word Sam gathered all his equipment and away we went. He explained the process including any potential problems and away he went. It took him roughly 25 minutes to complete and I was all sorted. But what really stood out for me was how quickly I was served at the counter, due to how efficient the staff were being, but I was very very impressed by the professional and customer focused manner of Sam. What a credit to your organisation, he was pleasant, smart, efficient and truly went the extra mile, it is rare to see that level of customer service from such a young man. Take a bow Sam you have received praise from a very hard to impress Yorkshire man. Brilliant experience from start to finish, highly recommended

Took car in for coolant change,said all okay 1 mile down road engine light came on, called rac who said it is coolant leak I wouldn't trust Halfords again with my car. Not sure what damage has been done to my car by letting me drive away knowing there was a leak, car was fine before I took it in, no leaks, running fine now it has cost me for the coolant change and who knows what other damage, they should not be allowed to get away with ripping off customers I will never go near Halfords again.

Great professional helpful and friendly service from Bekki I only went in for a set of dust caps for my car I couldn’t see them anywhere and even though Bekki was dealing with other customers she very kindly showed me where they were. Also I have been thinking about purchasing a dash cam for my car and the information Bekki gave me was most helpful I will definitely be back to get one fitted Thank you Bekki Great service

Incredible, kind and helpful with my e-bike repair. Rob did an amazing job with my bike and I swear its running better than when it was brand new. I didn't catch the name of the fella who serverd me when i picked it up today but he was also incredibly helpful and helped me get everything set up properly and even helped carry my bike down the stairs!

Tried to order new Number Plates, with fitting, from Halfords. Halfords’ Online Service was absolute rubbish. However, went to Halfords Store, Wakefield today and received excellent service. Firstly, from Johnny on the Service Desk, and then from Lucas, a Halford’s Fitter. Removing the old Car Registration Number Plates transpired to be profoundly difficult, given that the Screws fitted over two decades ago, had rusted in situ. Lucas persevered for an hour, and after his sustained efforts, managed to get the job completed. Well done, Lucas. Thank you.
