I bought an item online and picked it up from Argos (inside Sainsbury’s, Ings Road, Wakefield). The item was not working correctly (faulty). I submitted a return request online, and when I took it back to the store they refused to accept it or issue a refund. Even when I politely reminded them that I was within my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the staff member called security. I returned the next day and spoke to another staff member who I hoped would resolve the issue, but he immediately said he would not take it back and supported his colleague’s decision. I have made many orders with Argos in the past and never had any issues, as I always dealt with other stores. Based on this experience, I do not recommend anyone visit the Argos store at Ings Road, Wakefield. Because of the situation, I had to escalate the matter to Argos Customer Support, who have now opened an enquiry with their Financial Services team to process a refund.
Amazing customer service. They were very understanding of my issue and were very friendly and lovely. Would recommend this store :)
