Visited Whitby for the weekend, but unfortunately I forgot to take a supply of insulin needles. Went to the pharmacy at Boots to buy a box. The assistant asked me if I actually needed a full box, I said about 10 needles would do. She gave me the 10 but wouldn't charge me for them. Fantastic service, thanks again.
Poor customer service at the till today!!! Honestly never had so shocking experience with boots except today! Went to get emergency cotton pads thought they usually do 3for2 then asked till service people to check if it’s still on! Although it doesn’t say on the tag but usually sale was on without clear instructions! Then went to till to check! The woman - wore Phamacy gilet might be one of pharmaceutical assistance or trainee — wore black frame glasses , curly perm short dark hair with face mask on, suddenly lost her manner , lost her patience, raised her voice, this is shocking!!! Please could someone from management check on the CCTV, at round 12: 50 29/11/2025, the till near the Phamacy! She was being so rude to me! She denied straight after no apologies at all! What an awful attitude and unprofessional behavior as a part of Phamacy team even to the whole Boots! Was in a rush otherwise would stay to talk to someone who can deal with it !
Poor experience explained I had positive COVID test asked for advice from my GP they sent me this...Dear Mr Pearson, I have reviewed the current NHS signposting guidance and from the information you have given me, I'm pleased to advise you are suitable to visit a pharmacy for product purchase advice from a pharmacist. They will be able to assess your clinical condition and offer more expert advice regarding further management. Thank you Whitby Group Practice..... What's got was a disbelieving .......nothing I can do ,take paracetamol and drink water, it's like flu, made to feel very stupid......I have a heart condition and diabetes.....other countries supply additional medicines.
Visited today as I was missing a vital piece of my medication equipment, the two girls who sorted me were amazing, a real credit to Boots! I would definitely visit again going forwards, so helpful and kind!
I needed an emergency prescription on holiday after I forgot to bring my inhaler with me. The NHS prescription service wasn't working properly, but the pharmacy team got it sorted for me really quickly and were friendly.
