Co-op Food - York - Hull Road

Clearly poor communication from management to front of house staff. The Frozen meal deal for 6.50 (6 with membership) could not be activated because they were out of eligible desserts. Took 20 minutes for me to learn this! Should put a note in the section, or at least inform their employees so they can inform me sooner and allow me to rethink my shop. Manager bloke said ‘well… it is Sunday evening, we close in 10 mins”, no excuse! Close earlier! Relucant to return.

Worst service ever just went to collect my dpd parcel on 14 July at 8:00pm as the manager just told us that we don’t require anything accept photo ID. When I provided my photo ID the manager told us that we required bank card or utility bill . the manager are not concerned with there job and I think he need some more training.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHOP VIA JUST EAT! £34 for a single bag of raspberries? I ordered 12 bags & they sent me one & put it through as 12. Just Eat never gives a refund. Absolutely disgusting!

Really friendly helpful staff, brilliant with kids lots of patience with them. What a lovely lady, made this little ones day.

I’m a local driving instructor so pop into the Co-op shop on Hull Road several times a week. Usually to shop, sometimes to pick up students there and sometimes to use the loo. The recent improvements to the car park, white bay markings and pedestrian crossings are excellent making it a safe place to shop. The shop itself is always clean and tidy, the staff are always friendly and helpful and a good selection of food and other items such as flowers, take away coffees, lottery tickets etc are easy to find and purchase. All at a reasonable price. I have a Co-op Member card, which cost me £1 some years ago and regularly receive additional discounts through the membership. Today I bought some items, milk, bread and some sweets and used the loo. The usual 100% satisfaction was experienced and I must say the loo was spotless. Well stocked with paper towels, soap etc and I have no hesitation in awarding five stars!
