I was refused access to your store in monks cross by the most rude woman I've ever been faced with that smirk on her face saying she cant let us in because they close at 16:00 when the time was 15:40. I appreciate they need to get people out as she said but then why state you close at 16:00 when technically you close at 15:40. And to be met with such rudeness isn't appreciated. If you could maybe address this to the team member (older woman, black hair, short.) that she could turn people away in a better manner that would be great or at least state that you close earlier than stated due to making sure people are out on time.

Wow, this stores customer service is abysmal. I love b & m but I will definitely try to avoid this one at all costs. One person ignored me when I asked for help finding something, I actually thought maybe they were deaf until I saw them talking to another staff member. Then when I finally found someone to help me they spoke to me like I was stupid for not being able to find it. I won't even go into how terrible checkout was, just read the other reviews.

It's a shame I can't give 0 stars, I went in yesterday for a few bits, joined a huge queue with only 2 tills on. A third member of staff came to the tills and after she'd messed around for a few minutes I asked if she was opening her till to which she put one finger up at me. I found this extremely rude. Maybe management need to train their staff on how to be a bit more friendly and approachable. I work in retail myself and would never not acknowledge a customer or give them a "finger" to tell them to wait.

All the staff are Rude. Can't even be bothered to say please or thank you. Tell you off for putting the next customer sign the wrong way. Even though they r all rubbed off and can't see what they say. till area mucky. Place looks like its been raided. over filled and stock rammed out. Mess all over the floor.No shelf edge labels on half the products. Till area has out of date food everywhere. Worst b and m in the country.

Staff at tills are painfully slow at putting your items through till. You can be waiting 20mins or more at till with two other customers in front. Be nice if staff could pick up the speed, so you’re not waiting for what feels like a lifetime at checkout. Also a strong smell of b.o at the monks cross b&m which makes it a very unpleasant experience. If I could give 0/5 stars I would.
