The young lady on the desk this morning is such a credit to your team, I walked to the store for some bits and forgot to take a carrier bag with me, the lady said it’s okay you can have mine, such a lovely act of kindness, you have made my day. Thank you so much 🙂🙏

Rubbish service and a young lad serving us didn't know how to smile! Ordered at the quick machine and told to go to the counter with the name on order, got to counter and was asked for last 4 digits of order, wasn't given one. Then wanted personal details, why? All I wanted was what I ordered. Probably would have been a better experience if the young lad wasn't so miserable!

I went to screwfix as an ignoramus. I measured everything, had taken photos and had some idea what I wanted. The guys at Screwfix, Monks Cross were superb! They didn't treat me like an eejit, they were very respectful, knowledgeable and honestly, could not have done any more for me. They showed endless patience and solved all bar one of my problems. The one unsolved problem, they gave me suggestions on where to go for the part I need. I was really worried about going into a place like this, knowing what I wanted but not knowing how to ask for it and looking a complete idiot. I won't have those worries again, thanks to the guys at Monks Cross Screwfix, one of which was Tom, didn't get the other guy's name, but he had a grey beard. I will from now on, continue to go to Screw fix every time I need some, safe in the knowledge I am likely to get exactly what I need, with expert advice, all at a reasonable price. Faultless Screwfix, thank you again for your patience, expertise, understanding and professionalism, very impressive.

Had some difficulty with an order this week. Member of staff at Monks Cross kindly organised for me to collect order at Clifton Moor. Reimbursement didn't arrive as promised, however one t/c and it was sorted. Staff kind, both in store and on the telephone. It was great to receive customer service from real people and not some automated AI system.
