🛒 So there I was on a busy Sunday afternoon, feeling like I’d cracked the code to life. I only popped into B&M for a bottle of Coke and a pack of Starburst (as you do) — but of course, I ended up doing a full shop. I get to the tills, spot the shortest queue — just ONE person in front of me — and I’m feeling like I’ve just won the lottery. “In and out in five minutes,” I thought. Millionaire mindset activated. 💅 Then Wendy (absolute legend) scans the last item and says, “Will that be cash or card?” Customer: “Card, please.” Wendy: sighs dramatically “Oh bugger… that’s gonna be the biggest mistake I make today. I’ve hit cash instead of card — gotta rescan the whole lot.” Twenty. Minutes. Later. 😩 Wendy’s still trying to figure out why the first receipt says £101.57 and the new one says £97.57. Meanwhile, I’ve aged about three years and finished my Starburst in the queue. 🍬😂 Moral of the story: never trust the “shortest queue” — it’s a trap. And honestly… I think it might be time Wendy retires. 🤣
Everything I didn't even know I needed. Good prices and variety of stock. The only downside that has always been a problem is how long it takes to get through the checkout, it always seems short staffed. Also it's one of those shops you can't get out of without going through the tills....
If you have been to one B&M you will find the same set up in them all. Large variety of goods varying from food to furniture. I think it would be fair to say that it is not at the expensive end of the market but more reasonable prices! 👍
Just a heads up. Never, repeat never go to this particular store (Clifton moor) near or at lunch time. The rude “wish I wasn’t here” staff seem to take great pleasure in watching the queue for the ONE open till extend down the aisle. 3rd or 4th time this has happened when I’ve been in this store. Ended up putting my basket on the floor & walking out.
Best place to spend 30 quid when u only went in for a £3 item lol
