I went to shop here yesterday, and when it came time to pay, the cashier seemed very unbothered and didn't say a word. She was happy and jolly talking to the previous customer who was white but the second she saw us (asian), she made a face and didn't even say hi or talk to us at all. Instead she looked frustrated to be serving us. She was an asian woman herself. Very disappointed.
Nice and beautiful place. Garden centre very variety. I like it. Very big garden centre and very variety.
Many things to pick threw such as toothpaste and near the back there will be a door leading outside to the gardening area
Asked staff member where they kept the nicotine replacement lozenges & none could be found, got told "out of stock!" so I went & found them myself. Not overly impressed with Sunday staff
I recently visited a B&M store and purchased door hangers. Unfortunately, the product broke immediately upon trying to use it, even before installing it on the door. When I returned to the store to request a refund or replacement, the experience was appalling. The staff, particularly the lady at the till and the manager, were extremely rude and unprofessional. Despite the door hanger breaking in the staff member's hands when she tried it herself, they still refused to acknowledge the fault. The manager brusquely told me to "just give the money and get rid of them," which is unacceptable. The cashier also displayed a poor attitude, throwing tantrums and behaving as though they were doing me a favor. In the UK, the Consumer Rights Act protects customers from faulty goods. A product that is not fit for purpose or breaks so easily entitles the buyer to a refund or replacement. The staff here were clearly unaware of or unwilling to abide by these basic consumer rights. It’s not about the cost—it was only £2.50—but about the way I was treated. Customers deserve respect and professional service. I suggest better training for staff on both customer service and consumer rights. This experience has made me hesitant to shop at B&M again.
