Description

The house has been completely refurbished creating a space with the essence of a traditional farmhouse yet fully equipped with all the modern amenities one could need, making it the perfect choice for large families or groups of friends. 

The accommodation boasts a beautiful family kitchen with a sizable range cooker, large American style fridges and separate dining area with an attached conservatory. The house is perfectly equipped for self-catering; however, a chef of a very high standard can be provided to cook for that special occasion. French windows lead out from the kitchen onto the terrace with a croquet lawn and ha-ha overlooking the expansive fields and beck below. 

Downstairs consists of a spacious entrance hall and a drawing room with large open fireplace which makes for the heart of the home. In addition, there is a television room with wood burning stove and sky TV. One of the double bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom is also situated downstairs.  

Upstairs makes a further 7 bedrooms and bathrooms all elegantly decorated. The Master Bedroom has far reaching views over the rolling dales complete with a king size bed and private bathroom that boasts an antique freestanding bath and separate shower. There is one twin room as well as 6 double bedrooms, 3 of which allow for the option of being separated into twin rooms.

The Cart House contains another double bedroom with rustic beams and French antique bed. The rest of the property consists of a bathroom with a bath and separate shower, kitchen and sitting room downstairs offering privacy and complete comfort.

The property also consists of a converted Barn with a wood burning stove, oak floors and original beams. This provides a space where all can join together for special dinners. This additional facility makes Telfit the perfect location for exclusive weddings, conferences, seminars and yoga retreats. The barn hosts a separate kitchen for our in-house caterers and weddings are beautifully and seamlessly organised by our in-house wedding curator Riverside Events. Yoga, Pilates and massages can also be organised with sufficient notice being provided.
