Exceptional and exclusive 1-bedroom, single-storey, self-catering cottage for 2 adults. Fitted, equipped and maintained to the very highest standards for your comfort and relaxation. Unique romantic hideaway for relaxing, walking, cycling, sight-seeing and special events.

Set at the end of a private, tree-lined drive, parking is at the front of the property. The Bothy has its own private, walled courtyard with garden furniture. A welcome tea-tray with fresh cakes awaits your arrival.

Recently upgraded The Bothy offers a large open-plan lounge / dining-room / kitchen with comfortable furniture and cushions and recently fitted, fully equipped kitchen units.TV, DVD player, free Wi-fi , kitchen gadgets – fridge, oven & hob, microwave, kettle, toaster etc. all provided to enhance your stay. Moving into the inner hall, this leads to a large bedroom with double bed, plenty of storage space and wall-mounted TV or to the spacious shower-room with towels and bath-robes provided. There is a cloaks cupboard in the hall as well as an antique pine dresser containing lots of tourist information to browse.

Easy driving access to local amenities and attractions including pubs and restaurants, golf courses, castle ruins and church (with Richard III links), Castle Howard, Helmsley, North Yorkshire Moors and East coast sea-side resorts, historic York and lots of shopping centres! There is something for everyone.

The Bothy is for 2 adults only and is strictly NO-SMOKING. The accommodation is not suitable for children or pets. Please telephone / email to make a reservation. Be assured of a very warm welcome as you arrive to begin your indulgent “you-time” holiday.
