Bingley Library

Thought libraries were supposed to be quiet places to read and work. They have groups singing and playing instruments making it very hard to concentrate and read or work. Also female staff member is very unhelpful when it comes to using the computers or printer. Thought staff were paid to help and be of assistance.

Small but comfortable. That's how I felt when I visited for the first time, and I rated it four stars. Two years have passed, and I have updated my review to state that it is one of the best libraries in West Yorkshire, with wonderful librarians. I have also revised my rating to five stars.

A library hidden away on the lower ground floor of Five Rise Shopping Centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. The book choices are great with a good selection of genres and authors.

The library has friendly staff, plenty of books to borrow, free wifi, computers and places where you can use your on lap top. There’s even free tea and coffee on a cold winter’s day.

When did library's stop being places to read and study and turn into a teenage social club. I went there for somewhere quiet to work. Groups of teens paying music and laughing and joking and have loud inappropriate conversations. None of the staff did anything about it.
