A fantastic country pub with everything you’d want from a proper local! It’s right on the canal, and the beer garden has lovely views over the fields – the perfect spot for a drink in the sunshine. The landlord and staff are really friendly and welcoming, and it’s a great place for both families and dog owners (there are treats for the pups, which is a lovely touch). There’s a brilliant selection of drinks and snacks, plus some fun extras that make it stand out – a dart board for a bit of friendly competition, and even Lego to keep the kids entertained while you relax. A gem of a pub that manages to be both traditional and family-friendly. Definitely worth a visit!w

A great community pub brought back to life, by a chap with the knowledge on how to run things properly! A very warm welcome and highly recommended. Oh and free Lego to play with which my daughter really enjoyed.

Cracking little local pub next to the canal. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good beer. No food but an excellent selection of bar snacks.

Went to The Fisherman's Inn twice in two days. Found the landlord charming and genuine. He talked me through all the local beers with enthusiasm. Next day we had a lovely meal, look at the pictures of the Sunday roasts. I had the Fisherman's Fish Pie which was a delight. There was also music on the Sunday, from the very talented Daisy Wardle.

Great pub, with an enthusiastic landlord really trying to make it a success. Situated next to the canal a great location. Good range of ale's. Dog friendly. Great food. I had the best burger fries and slaw ever. Presentation was excellent and the ratio of bun to burger was spot on. Would certainly revisit.
