I like the atmosphere of the shop — simple and warm. The staff are welcoming, smiling, and laughing, making me feel like I’m part of the family. The coffee and hot chocolate are reasonably priced, and the cleanliness is good.

Lovely little tea room. The staff are so friendly, the cakes were delicious and the scones were a highlight! Nice relaxed atmosphere and very good value for money.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. We walked in and found a table that was spare. The ladies on the table next to it said that no one was sitting there even though there was teapots left on the table. We ordered our food, we were in two groups. We received our drinks from 3 different waiters/waitresses then after 4/5 minutes a waitress came to ask if we had everything. One of our party said, we had all our drinks but we were waiting on food. The waitress then proceeded to ask if we had everything again to which I said we were waiting on food, the waitress asked if we had ordered cakes to which I said not cakes we ordered food. Then our food was brought out, 5 out of the 6 had received food and then the cook came out of the kitchen and said that the chip butty for the 6th person would be 5 minutes as there was some mix up with the food. Then the little ones who got the meal deal went to order their pudding. The pudding was brought to the table and instead of clearing some of the plates to put the ice cream down we had to move the plates to one side to fit two more bowls on the table. So we had all our plates there plus the other teapots. As you can imagine a full table. Maybe some more training and observation on clearing tables etc when bring out puddings to tables. The food was really good just a shame that the others things let it down
Sunday morning I decided to have a lovely coffee ruined by a cold bacon sandwich served by a girl who couldn’t care less. Three the plate down no cutlery didn’t ask if I wanted sauce and was so eager to go and talk to someone who had just entered that she wasnt interested in doing her job bread not buttered to edge just in the middle. Won’t be returning.
