Refusing a paying customer any water is simply ridiculous. The hot chocolates we bought were so sugary that I wanted a glass of tap water and was refused, despite UK law requiring any premises selling alcohol to provide free potable water to their customers. The staff were also very rude and condescending on the matter. Won't be coming back, despite the people we were with being regular customers (and who now are put off too).

The service felt a bit rushed and the prices were somewhat higher than I'm used to, especially given how small and unremarkable the drinks are. But this was easily made up for by the cakes being really nice. I was pleasantly surprised they had a gluten-free option as one member of my party has Coeliac. The staff had a very straightforward manner which I can imagine would be polarising and would explain some of the negative reviews. Personally, I liked it, and I'll be back.

Often come with the children. Amazing home made gelato. Friendly and relaxed. Some good children meal deals for the holidays too :)

Good cafe. Outdoor seating available when the weather is suitable. A little on the expensive side for meals.
