Moorside Prestige

Just purchased my second car from Moorside, firstly an Audi TT and now a Mercedes E Class. I can honestly say after weeks of browsing it was a huge relief to find my newest purchase with these fellas, for a number of reasons, their cars are always very well presented and low mileage examples, living 2 hours away Richard couldn’t be more helpful on the phone prior to my visit to view the car and viewing the car/test driving it was a pleasure. I really appreciate their laid back, friendly attitude to car sales. They knew their car was that good I was just left to check it out and ask my relevant questions. The obvious outcome was I wasn’t going to find a better car anywhere else and being sold by more genuine blokes. Probably won’t be my last. Many thanks again.

I bought a Mercedes SLK from Moorside Prestige earlier this month .Adrian was a pleasure to do business with ,very patient and easy going.. no pressure at all. The car itself is absolutely as described and has no faults. I would say to anyone looking for that type of vehicle to take a look at their stock..

Very pleased with the service. Bought a TT from Adrian. Friendly and easy to deal with. Car as described. Had an unexpected issue with warning light in the warranty period but true to their word problem was fixed at their expense. Friendly and professional family businesses. Buy with confidence.

Waste of time & space, we bought a more expensive car elsewhere the same day due to more diligent service. We called Adrian ahead in the morning to arrange the viewing and the car was still tucked away in the back when we arrived as scheduled. On arrival he was busy prepping another car and then on the phone, we had to go and find him, no one attended to us. When asked if Adrian could take the car out of the cranny for us to view it anyone would think we asked him for his bank PIN number, "You want me to take it out?!" he asked us in horror. "Yes, sorry we can't buy a car we can't see?' was our reply. So, the car gets taken out of the rear of the storage room (see image) and we get no history about the car or even a conversation full stop. We asked for the car to be started and he did but was keen to switch it off - the service indicator came up and Adrian's response to a car that was fully serviced was, "Oh". The LCD display of the entertainment system was shot. I would not mind but we asked him for any issues before we did the 80 miles round trip. We wasted the early afternoon to view the car - it had engine oil in the seat track, Adrian said they used that to lubricate the tracks, first i've heard of that and we've had a few cars. We were told the timing belt had been done, when we asked for the proof, "Oh, i'll call them tomorrow for it". I asked Adrian to call me back when he had the proof but he did not have the decency to take any details from me and was more keen to get the car back into the rear of the storage room. We were not even shown the V5, presume it was in the office upstairs with Adrian's brew which was getting cold. You would have thought he got the hint when we asked him how long he'd been selling cars but no. As a customer we have been buying cars for over 30 years and own numerous retail/customer service based businesses, Adrian would never be employed by us, he was absolutely terrible. I guess you should never judge a book by it's cover; just because we turned up in sandals, shorts and T Shirts (it was 31 degrees), did not mean we did not have the means or resources to buy the car, with respect we could have bought ALL of the stock - we were genuine buyers and treated with contempt. I would avoid this place like the plague.

Purchased a 2012 Mazda MX5 one month ago, in superb condition, 17000 miles, fully documented service history. Adrian & Richard were very helpful both on the phone and in person. Good test drive, and all the paper work sorted out there and then, and we drove the car back to Leicestershire. One month on & I love it! Great garage to do business with.
