Had to get some minor repairs done to the front end of my Octavia VRS last week. The work done was high quality, but the service was excellent, turned the work round within the day to ensure that I could make an appointment the following day, and worked to repair an issue rather than fit a replacement part making a significant saving to my bill. Oh, and all the staff we very friendley and pleasant as well.

Highly recommend. Took my Ford Kuga to have some scratches and scrapes removed. Initially went down for a quote, but was told I could book the car in there and then and collect same day if happy to proceed. No fuss and very quick service.

The short version of this review is STOP LOOKING AND BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! Long Version: I first approached Bingley Car Body Shop to get a quote in August 2019. I arranged a Saturday meeting with Peter and we chatted for over half an hour about the work needed to my car and about all his cars and projects he has carried out. It was instantly clear to me and my wife that Peter was a Proper Ford Nut and a man who loved attention to detail. I was happy with the quote and I said I'd be in contact with him. Then, the World fell apart in 2020 and I had to delay getting my car done until 2021. However, I foolishly went to another Body shop for the sole reason it was nearer to me. Big mistake. Got let down hard by this other body shop and had to ring Peter and ask him to pick up my car and see what he could do with it. Peter was very helpful and understanding on the phone and picked up my car 2 days later. We met up again and we once more discussed a plan for my car. He gave me a quote and a time frame which we agreed on. 6 weeks later, my car was delivered to me by Peter in the best condition it has been in since it left the Ford Factory nearly 20 years ago. Numerous people have come up to me at shows and out and about and complimented me on it. The job Peter and his crew has done is incredible. I am over the moon with the result and the whole service I received at Bingley Car Body Shop and I can not recommend them enough!!!

Was thinking a long time if it was worth putting money into my good old jeep or if it was time to move on to another car. Especially the roof and the front of the car was in need of attention. My jeep garage pointed me towards these magicians at bingley body shop so went over to have a chat with them. Came back a couple of times as wanted to know all the different options and these guys were nice, patient, knowledgeable and really try to think with me what would be the best approach. I knew the engine was good so with their confidence made the decision to go ahead. After 2,5 weeks I got it back and I was absolutely amazed by how good they made it look. It was that lion/caretaker moment after seeing it back in its full glory. I am filled with excitement and so proud of the car, thanks guys for making that happen

I gave them my car with a loose but working headlight unit (all b working bulb), slightly misaligned bodywork and a replacement second hand light unit ... I got a car back with a more misaligned bodywork, lights that didn't work and a unit that was fitted while being faulty, (it didn't rattle when I bought it and handed it to them ) or that was damaged in fitting ... car taken in around 09.30, phone call at 11.54 to say it was ready, say 2 hours and was charged £200 .. I would rather they said they didn't want to do the job in the first place as Ive now got to go through it all again with MOT due in June .. not a happy or impressed customer, sorry .. !! Update to reply; So its taken you nearly three weeks to come up with this BS, yes there was already slight damage there but it wasn't that bad AND I had told you about it and how it all happened so you were aware of all you say was my fault, ... plus everything was working, Lights etc, when I gave it to except for the fact that the light unit was loose in its fitment due to broken lugs .. Yes I had bought a second hand unit that was working too, I had tested it and it didn't rattle either... I had been advised it was a bumper off job to fit a light unit and so went to someone I thought would do a good job ( my mistake ) and yes asked if they could do it ... all sad excuses in their reply aside, they took it on when they could have said no, but they didnt, and when I got the car back, the bumper had not been removed at all, or if it had they did a totally rubbish job of putting it back, plus the headlight unit now rattled, the inner reflective bulb holding parts now being detached from the rest of the inner of the unit, and the lights did not now work .. their excuse aside about not taking on something that came through the door, the simple answer is they saw a chance for a quick cash in hand £200 and took it for that reason .. and to reiterate what cant be denied, they took the job on and either knowingly fitted an alleged damaged unit, not very good workmanship, or they damaged the unit when putting it in, either way not a good work practice, the reality being it I was an easy touch and to my mind a way to make a backhander, (wonder if the taxman knows) .. and the opportunity to con a pensioner, cowboy doesn't come into it .. hope you enjoyed the laugh and the money lads, the last ones on me as Ive still got the unit .. !! .. ps .. did you forget you tried to hold everything together with yellow tape .. ?? In as much as the Bodgy shop hasn't had the decency to reply or contact me on this in their arrogance, these are pictures of how I got it back, there is short video to that highlights the broken light they say was like that when they got it, a blatant lie as I wouldn't have bought it in that condition, and the yellow tape, (an appropriate color under the circumstances) is evident too however I am on Face Book under my name and the pictures and video are there in a post for anyone that wants to see them .. my final advice being don't accept an offer of a cash job to 'save paying VAT' .. get a receipt .. and check your car fully when you get it back ... I don't care how many plus reviews this bodge shop company have got, it takes a long time and effort to get a good reputation, it only takes one questionable sneaky employee and one instance of a bad job to lose it .. I'm not going away on this, Ive no reason to lie about it either, they apparently have though ..!
