Ophiuchus Hair Studio

Very disappointed with the service, I asked for the price of a blow-dry and was advised it was £25. When I was ready to pay the total bill was £63. The staff did not inform me of price throughout making the appointment or when I was in the chair nor did they warn me it would be a £25 extra charge for a blow-dry. The hairdresser who cut my hair was very hostile. I have had better blow-dries, they spent 2 hours on my hair and the blow-dry is lifeless. Honestly the worst hairdressers experience i’ve had. Very disappointed. (July 2020)

Someone recommended Ophiucus in Bingley to me after I had been disappointed with a number of other hairdressers in the area. I have been going now for a few years and would not hesitate to recommend them. Consistently good haircut, very nice staff and good customer service. I have recommended them to both female and male friends, all of whom have been very happy with them as well.

I have had many blow dries in my time, in many top salons in and out of this country. Unfortunately this salon did not deliver in the type of blow dry I wanted, I felt my hair was left lifeless and did not last more than 12 hours. This is despite them charging the same price as the above mentioned salons. Definitely not worth the money.

Stylist messed up hair (in Dec 2018), was quite rude and unpleasant and kept hurting me with the brush and straighteners, did not back down when I told her to and I had to pay for this abysmal treatment. I sent 2 complaints to this salon via email but never got a reply. Never went back to this place.
