Cottingley Hall Care Home - Bupa

Our mum has been in Cottingley Hall for the past couple of years. The staff are wonderful and the care they have given mum is second to none. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming, like one big family. The food is lovely, the activities the staff do with the residents are brilliant. We can’t thank everyone enough for their warmth, love and care given to mum.

My mother has recently moved into Cottonley Hall, the transition into the home was prompt, smooth and very well attended to. The administrative team are kind, informative and detailed, the Care home Manager is well knowledgable about my mother’s case and is proactive, supportive and kind. The care team are prompt, attentive and caring. We thank the whole team for all their hard work and efforts towards my mother and us as a family during this difficult time. On arriving at the home my mother was warmly welcomed and her needs met with equipment and care immediately. She is in an environment that is stimulating, healthily and well maintained and equipped now and we look forward to working with the home to support my mother and give her a quality of life that will have her feeling its a home from home. Our Mum/Sister went to Cottingley Hall for palliative care in the last few weeks of her life. She came from Nottingham to be near her children.. The Administrative staff were extremely helpful in helping to facilitate this move. Once there, Hazel settled immediately, which was entirely due to the staff. The were caring, friendly and had a humour that enabled Hazel to feel at home, she was only 70 and had cancer so the whole experience was frightening, but they made her feel so comfortable and at home. She was unable to join in activities or mealtimes but often when we visited, staff were in her room chatting to her. On 2 occasions family stayed overnight and the staff couldnt do enough for us. The care she received was excellent. The environment is lovely and doesn't feel like a care home. As a family, we want to thank you all for the care Hazel, and ourselves, received in those last few weeks. Thank you

Clean and well-maintained common area and individual rooms. Nice garden and outdoor area for the residents. Quality food provided by the kitchen staff. Friendly, attentive and professional care staff including nurses, care representatives and assistants care. The staff show respectful attitude to the residents of home. Overall great place for elderly people to live.

Our family consider it appropriate to submit a review of our experience with Cottingley Hall Care Home, our late father was a resident for just over a year. We could not have wished for better care, compassion and friendship for his during his stay. ALL the staff were amazing both to him and visiting family and friends, so much so that we would highly recommend the residence to anyone considering a care home for their loved ones. Our father was certainly happy and content during his stay. We believed that after careful consideration of options, Cottingley Hall was the BEST residence for our father.
