Under new ownership for the past six months now, this Post Office is always one you can count on to look after you well. Very knowledgeable people and a nice friendly attitude. A superb location literally bang in the middle of the town with numerous parking options (including free ones) very close by.
I’ve been using this post office on a regular basis and so far had no issues, in fact, I found the new owner helpful. I’m sure in time they’ll decorate the shop and hopefully to look more presentable and current. Sadly, the previous owner was a bit moody and appear to be frustrated (well, each time I’ve visited that’s how I felt ) good luck and hope you do well. 👏
Posting packages - they couldn’t do enough for us, ensuring that the packages were secure, gave us options for different postal services and just fantastic service
Website says it is open until 12:30 on Saturdays. I drove 14 miles to pick up a parcel DPD should have delivered to my home, it was closed at 11am! In response to owners reply and excuse for Post Office being closed. I was reminded by him that the PO is now open from 9:30 - 12:30! That is what it said on website previously ,also, it was written on a tatty piece of paper stuck over the opening times on the door! Yet, it was still closed at 11Am. Regardless of whether you have just taken over a business surely, it is paramount to let prospective customers know the actual opening times? If that proves to be too difficult, it makes one wonder? It was the first time I had attempted to use this PO and probably the last.
