Pets at Home Stocksbridge

My hamster passed away because of a giant tumour round his neck and arms. I complained and asked why they didn’t tell me they accused me of lying. A old ish woman on the phone started bitching about me while I was on the phone (I could hear it all) then they accused me of “making up” the girl who sold him to me? They did nothing to help him and the day I was going to take him to the vet (because they called me a liar I needed a professional opinion. Which is funny as they don’t have a clue at pets at home. He passed away. They didn’t offer any help or anything I got in touch with head office and all they offered was a refund after he passed away. They can shove their money and keep it for staff training lessons to look after the pets properly. I went to another pets at home and told them about it after and they was so lovely about it all said if it was them they would’ve given him free treatment as it was their fault. So yeh. Never going here again and to the woman on the phone I don’t know her name but she sounds like a Karen. Stuck up cw

Great service always with a smile and a hello they're great with my pup, the rewards on the app aren't worth owt as there's never anything that i buy on them. Bit expensive other than that it's ok as a pet store

Friendly and helpful staff. And they always have a good stock of everything i have found thus far. If youre a pet owner it's worth a browse, if not, maybe a slight look at the rabbits as is customary in a Pets at Home store.

I have adopted 2 rabbits from fox Valley. The staff always ask after them even though I adopted my first rabbit 3 years ago. Very friendly people who are really caring and knowledgeable.
